Ten Rutherford County players were honored by being named All-State by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association last week.
Oakland, a 6-A state quarterfinalist, led the way with three players -- senior offensive lineman Jackson Riley, junior athlete Victor Stephenson and senior linebacker Aaron Moore.
Blackman placed two players on the squad in senior linebacker Connor Murphy and senior defensive back Dejeun Gibson.
Stewarts Creek senior Amari Jelks is one of four running backs named to the team after gaining more than 1,600 yards last season.
Riverdale senior defensive lineman rounds out the Class 6A honorees.
In Class 2A, Eagleville senior defensive back Trevor Griffin was named to the squad. He was the region defensive MVP and had almost 90 tackles and five interceptions.
MTCS had two players named to the Division II-A squad. Senior tailback and Tennessee Titans Mr. Football award winner Kemari McGowan and junior linebacker Trey Harris were honored.
