It wasn’t a team of superstars, but Oakland was still good enough to run away with the Class 6A state title for the third straight year – a first for any Tennessee high school football team.
The Patriots (14-1) dismantled Beech 42-6 in the BlueCross Bowl last Saturday.
“There’s been a high standard,” Oakland coach Kevin Creasy said. “The senior class that we had this year didn’t want to let down that standard.”
Main Street Preps This Week hosts Russell Vannozzi and Zach Womble caught up with Creasy to discuss his team’s championship season.
