NOTICE OF GRAND JURY MEETING

It is the duty of your Grand Jurors to investigate any

public offense which they know or have reason to believe

has been committed and which is triable and indictable

in this county. Any person having knowledge or proof

that such an offense has been committed may apply to

testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of

Tennessee Code Annotated, Sec. 40-12-105.

The Foreman in this County is presently Bruce Gibbs,

2106 Highway 12 North, Ashland City TN 37015. The

Grand Jury for Cheatham County will meet on Monday,

May 3, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. You may be prosecuted for

perjury for any oral or written statement which you

make under oath to the Grand Jury when you know the

statement to be false, and when the statement touches on

a matter material to the point in question.

Town of Pegram

Public Works

Temporary/Possible Full Time Position

The Town of Pegram is accepting applications for

a temporary/possible full time position working

for the Public Works Department. Applications are

available at Town Hall at 308 Highway 70 between

the hours of 8 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 4 PM Monday

through Friday. Applicants must be at least 18,

have transportation, a valid driver’s license and be

in good physical condition. A background check

and pre-employment drug screen will be required

as Pegram is a drug free workplace. This position is

primarily outdoor labor. Applicants should be able

to do weed eating, trimming, mowing, cleaning of

facilities, trash removal, equipment operation and

maintenance, sewer inspections and any miscellaneous

duties required by the position. Experience

is helpful but not required. Must be able to work

independently and very self motivated. The Town of

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Structural & Site Concrete package.

The scope includes all labor and materials to perform the entire work,

including but not limited to, crushed stone, concrete, welded wire mesh reinforcing,

form work, all required accessories and curing compound. Rebar

and Anchor Bolts to be furnished by others and installed under this trades

package. See Bidding Documents for additional scope requirements.

• General Trades Package.

The scope includes all labor, tools and equipment to install; rough carpentry,

hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, door hardware, FRP

panels, dimensional letter signage, interior signage, toilet accessories, toilet

partitions, fire extinguishers, cubical curtain. All materials shall be furnished

by others. See bidding documents for additional scope requirements.

METHODS OF BIDDING THESE PROJECTS:

Bids are hereby being solicited as a single lump sum contract for each

trades package. It is the intent of the Owner and Construction Manager to

award a single contract to the lowest, best, responsive, responsible

Bidder provided the Bid has been submitted in accordance with the requirements

of the Bidding Documents, is judged to be reasonable, and does not

exceed the funds available.

EXAMINATION AND PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS:

Contract Documents may be examined on and after March 23, 2021

As follows: RG Anderson Co., Dodge Plan room, iSqFt virtual plan room.

Plans may be purchased as full sets of Contract Documents beginning

March 23, 2021, at Lellyett & Rogers Co., 1717 Lebanon Rd., Nashville, TN.

Purchase cost is non-refundable.

INTERPRETATIONS AND ADDENDA

Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents shall be

directed to the Architect, thru the Construction Manager, in writing, via

email. Requests for clarifications or information will not be accepted within

seven working days of the bid date. Only answers issued by formal written

Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will

be without legal effect.

LAST DATE FOR QUESTIONS

Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents shall

be directed to the Architect, thru the Construction Manager, in writing, via

email. The last date for questions is March 26th, 2021.

The Owner and Construction Manager reserves the right to verify compliance

of selected subcontractors and accept or refuse the services of the

Identified subcontractors to be used.

TENNESSEE CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE LAW:

Bidding shall be in accordance with the Tennessee General Contractor’s

License Law. Bidders on construction in the amount of $25,000.00 or more

must be a licensed Contractor as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act

of 1976, Public Chapter No. 822 of the General Assembly of the State of

Tennessee, amended by Public Chapter 406, Public Acts 1977, and further

amended by House Bill No. 2507 and approved May 10, 1994 including the

most current amendments.

AFFIDAVITS:

The “Criminal Background Compliance” Affidavit and the “Drug-

Free Workplace” Affidavit are required to be completed and

enclosed within the bid Envelope. See pages following the Bid Form.
