Sealed Bids for the construction of the Murfreesboro 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project will be received by City of Murfreesboro Water Resources Department - Operations & Maintenance Division located at 1725 South Church Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130, until 2:00 P.M. local time on July 11, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a non-refundable charge of $200.00 for each set which included a Thumb Drive with project information. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to S&ME, Inc. Upon request and receipt of the document charge indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. Shipments shall be two-day delivery. Express shipments will be at the purchaser’s expense. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. local time on June 25, 2019 at the City of Murfreesboro Water Resources Department - Operations & Maintenance Department located at 1725 South Church Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
