The Town of Smyrna will accept bids on the Montgomery Way / Lee Road Intersection Improvements Project. The project will consist of the following general items:

Sawcutting, excavation, and removal of existing asphalt, concrete, soil, and rock to depth. Installation of 10-inches crushed base stone Type A Base Grading D Pug Mill Mix, 3-inches of 307 B-Modified Binder Mix, and 1.5-inches of 411-E Topping Mix to increase the ingress and egress radius by 10-feet. Installation of new concrete sidewalk, ADA compliant ramp with truncated domes, 2-12” white thermoplastic parallel cross walks, and 2-4” yellow striping. Also, the project includes milling and resurfacing new and existing asphalt pavement to the point of curve tangency.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on February 13, 2020 at the intersection of Montgomery Way and Lee Road, Smyrna, TN 37167.
