Mrs. Amy Haskins Dickens, age 76, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

Mrs. Dickens was born in Murfreesboro, TN, on July 17, 1942, the daughter of the late William Clarence Brown and Mary Ellen Haskins Brown. She spent her childhood in Rutherford County, TN. Mrs. Dickens was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Rutherford County, Bedford County, and Sumner County Historical Society. She was a true southern belle and enjoyed paper crafts, traveling, quilting, knitting, and genealogy.

Survivors include the love of her life, Joseph Wayne “Joe” Dickens of sixty years; three children, Beth (Charlie) O’Malley, Mike (Lynn) Dickens, and Eddie (Deidra) Dickens; seven grandchildren, Lyric Dickens, Melody Dickens, Amanda Dickens, Jonathan Dickens, Sean O’Malley, Megan (Brian) McLaughlin, and Lauren (Brendan) Reilly; and four great-grandchildren, Landon McLaughlin, Grayson McLaughlin, Piper Reilly, and Colin Reilly.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Entombment will be held Friday, May 31, 2019, at 11 a.m. Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
