Joseph Glenn Jennings




Joseph Glenn Jennings, went to be with the Lord at his home in Smyrna, Tennessee at the age of eighty-five.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years: Lois Jennings; his two children: David Jennings and wife Amy and Carla Cole and husband Kenneth; three grandchildren: Kyle Huggins, Jennifer Jennings, and Chrissy Mooney and husband Dana; and a great grandson: Aidan Mooney.

Mr. Jennings retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and later as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Miracle Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon for many years.

Visitation will be 12 p.m., and the funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Miracle Baptist Church. Glenn’s son, David Jennings, and his pastor, Rev. Dr. Todd Kirkland, will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
