Crystal Brown

Crystal Brown, 40, passed away at home from a courageous battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

Crystal was born in Simi Valley, California.  She graduated from Decatur High School in Decatur, TX and attended Weatherford College and Texas Woman’s University.  She married her love, Jeff, on April 19, 2003 and they grew their family to include sons Micheal, Matthew, and Mason. Crystal’s life revolved around being a wife and a mom and supporting her family in all their endeavors.  Her favorite activities and ones you may have known her from include The Blaze Barn at Blackman High School, The Launch Pad for Rockvale High School, Team Pregame meals, and Friday morning O-line breakfasts at both Rockvale and Blackman high schools.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Jeff Brown and their sons Micheal (18), Matthew (16), and Mason (12); her parents, James and Paige Arnal; her mother, Roxanne Arnal (Miller); her brothers, Clayton Arnal (wife Chelsey), James Arnal Jr. (wife Courtney), Joshua Arnal (wife Cassandra), and Nathan Yarroll; and her nephews: Gabe, Conner, Grayson, Ian, Calvin, Aiden, Chase.

The celebration of Crystal’s life will be on Sunday, November 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at River Oaks Community Church, 210 Rucker Lane, Murfreesboro TN 37128.  Crystal found such joy in being a Football Mom, so the celebration will be a time to show your school/team pride.  Come dressed in your best spirit wear from your favorite team.

Crystal’s family gives special thanks to their community for supporting their family through Crystal’s fight.  The meals, contributions, prayers, and friendship helped them through this battle and meant the world to Crystal.  As she would say, I love you more.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute in honor of Crystal to the following organizations:   Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in support of the American Cancer Society; the Blackman Blaze Football Boosters; the Rockvale Rockets Football Boosters; or any breast cancer or youth sports organization that is close to your heart.
