Charles Bradley, age 91, of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson County, TN, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence.
He was a native of Maury County, TN, and a son of the late Robert Bradley, Sr. and Ida Mai Riggins Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a lifelong farmer, carpenter, and a member of Edward’s Grove Church. Charles served our country in the United States Army, and in his later years he enjoyed woodworking and making crafts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Eddie Bradley, and a brother, Eugene Bradley.
Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine Bradley of the Flat Creek Community; daughter, Jacquie Belle (George) Boyd of the Flat Creek Community; daughter-in-law, Pamela Bradley Loague of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Jayme Boyd of the Flat Creek Community, Jeffrey Boyd of Columbia, SC, and Julie Boyd of the Flat Creek Community; brother, Robert Bradley, Jr. of Nashville, TN; special family and friends, Robbie, Michelle, Tina, and Tim Porras, Linda Simmons, Mark and Ned Smith, Kevin Pratt, Brad and Brian Simmons, Eagleville CO-OP, and Rigsby Brothers Shop card players.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Carver and Bro. John Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Lamb, Andy Stacey, Chuck Whitehurst, Mark Smith, Ned Smith, Brad Simmons, Ricky and Kenneth Dalton. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Gene Mayes, Harvey Isom, Jim Smith, Herbert Roberson, Kenny Wallace, Jerry Smithson, Brent Isom, Tony White, Monk White, R.C. Edmonson, and Kevin Pratt.
