Riverdale High School assistant principal Maryam Hill was arrested on a DUI charge Tuesday, officials said.
James Evans, communications director for Rutherford County Schools, said, “The employee did notify her supervisor of the charges, which they are required to do within 72 hours. We will monitor the case as it progresses through the judicial process.”
Hill was charged with DUI (first offense), according to the Rutherford County General Sessions Court. She has a hearing scheduled for April 2.
She was released on her own recognizance, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said.
