A Powerball lottery ticket worth $100,000 on Saturday was sold in Rutherford County, lottery officials announced.
The ticket was sold at the Family Market, 8050 Highway 99 in Rockvale. The ticket matched four of the five white numbers and the red Powerball to win $50,000. Because the player also bought the Power Play feature, the prize doubled to $100,000.
Two other tickets, one in Nashville and one in Giles County, won $50,000.
No ticket matched all of the numbers so the Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $550 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13.
