Old Time Pottery, the Murfreesboro-based home décor products retailer, announced last Wednesday that it has completed its voluntary Chapter 11 restructuring.
The restructuring was undertaken to address the financial impact of COVID-19.
“I am incredibly grateful to our employees, long-term business partners, and landlords who worked with us to make this possible and I am extremely pleased that we are able to ensure all creditors receive 100 percent of the money they are owed,” said Jason Schmitt, chief executive officer.
As part of the restructuring process, Old Time Pottery closed four stores and says it offered all impacted staff other roles within the company. Since the beginning of the restructuring, Old Time Pottery added more than 150 jobs across stores, headquarters and its distribution center. The company says it will add jobs throughout the holiday season.
