Gov. Bill Lee announced more than 100 appointees to a series of state boards and commissions, including three Rutherford County residents.
“I am pleased to appoint these individuals and appreciate their willingness to serve our state,” Lee said. “The success of our state depends on engaged citizens and we look forward to working together.”
The local designees are:
• Kirk Mason will be the governor’s designee on the Alzheimer’s Advisory Council.
• Sandra Elam will serve as Middle Tennessee Representative on the Governor’s Management Fellowship Executive Committee.
• Ed Elam will serve as Rutherford County representative on the Regional Transportation Authority board of directors.
