The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said an investigation by its special agents and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a La Vergne man accused of soliciting a minor.
On Oct. 1, TBI agents received information about an individual who was allegedly engaged in sexually illicit conversations on an online platform, the bureau said. During the course of the investigation, agents developed information that identified the suspect as Kyle Rawson of La Vergne, the TBI said.
On Oct. 10, with the assistance of officers with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department ICAC Task Force and La Vergne Police Department, TBI agents arrested Kyle Ray Rawson, 30, and charged him with one count of solicitation of a minor and one count of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means, the bureau said. He was booked into the Rutherford County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
