Nashville sports radio personality and Main Street Media contributor George Plaster will host the first Plaster & Friends Celebrity Bowling Night on Monday, Nov. 29.
The charity event will take place at Hermitage Strike and Spare in two groups from 6-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. All proceeds from the event will be donated to two local children’s organizations: Last Minute Toy Store and the Martha O’Bryan Center.
Tickets are available to the general public for $200 per person or $800 for a foursome to bowl. Each foursome will be paired with one of many sports celebrities and friends of Plaster. The ticket fee includes food, a drink ticket, an event T-shirt and two hours of bowling with a sports celebrity.
Celebrities scheduled to attend include former Tennessee Titans quarterback Neil O’Donnell, Nashville Soccer Club owner John Ingram and former Vanderbilt men’s basketball coach Kevin Stallings.
“After spending 29 years in the sports industry, and the Nashville community, I am thrilled to invite my friends, and local sports legends to support two amazing organizations dedicated to the well-being of children,” Plaster said. “I started as a volunteer with both the Last Minute Toy Store and the Martha O’Bryan Center. Both groups have truly captured my heart. They do so much good for the community, especially around the holidays, and I can’t wait to provide an opportunity for our community to come together and support their efforts.”
Through donations, the Last Minute Toy Store is able to provide free Christmas gifts and toys to the parents and guardians of children in Davidson County.
The Martha O’Bryan Center empowers children, youth, and adults in poverty to transform their lives through work, education, employment and fellowship.
