Investigators study damage from a vehicle fire at a condo complex Monday morning.

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department’s Fire Marshals’ Office is asking for the public’s assistance with a fire early Monday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the condo complex at 1245 Old Lascassas Road just before 2:30 a.m. Monday, the department said. They arrived to find a Chevy Traverse fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but another vehicle parked beside it received heat damage from the blaze, the MFRD said. The building also received cosmetic damage to the exterior.

The Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate. The fire is believed to have been intentionally set, and the Fire Marshal is asking for the public’s assistance to solve this case, the MFRD said.
