Improvements to the Bark Park at the General Bragg Trailhead on West College Street began this week and will continue for approximately five weeks.
The improvements, funded by a grant from the Randy Boyd Foundation, include:
• Dog agility equipment
• Water stations
• A second official dog park entrance
• Improved terrain
• Additional seating and signage.
“The Bark Park has been a popular venue for dogs and their owners for many years,” said Jennifer Joines, Better Boro Project coordinator with Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation. “The grant will allow us to make much needed improvements to the park.”
Joines encouraged dog owners to visit the dog park at the Cason Trailhead during this time.
