Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Chief Operating Officer Stephanie Brackman has been named President of Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives for a one-year term.
“It is an honor to serve as TCCE President this year,” Brackman said. “Chambers across our great state are working harder than ever to bring economic development and quality of life to all residents, and I am appreciative for the opportunity to lead.”
The primary goal of TCCE is to provide quality professional development, networking, resource exchange opportunities and grassroots advocacy for Chamber professionals across the state.
According to a news release, Brackman has served on the state board for five years and also has taught at the TCCE Institute.
She worked at Middle Tennessee State University for six years on special projects for the athletic department and the president’s office. She is a graduate of the Institute of Organization Management, Leadership Middle Tennessee and Leadership Rutherford. Brackman joined the Rutherford County Chamber staff in 1999.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
