Twenty-three teams participated in the Ninth Turkey Tee Off in Murfreesboro recently.

“Many of our loyal golfers have been golfing in this tournament every year for the last nine years. We are grateful for their support of the children and families we serve,” Child Advocacy Center director Sharon De Boer said.

The Taylor Team of Corey Taylor, Matt Taylor, Terry Taylor and Patrick Plemmons took home the first-place prize of $200 with a score of 55.

The PATCO Fire Safety team of Nathan Conley, Marshall Lorance, Chase Patterson and Anthony Rowland finished second with a score of 56, winning $160. The Cedar Crest team of Richardo Cardenas, Brian Hinz, Ben “Chuey” Ramirez, and Ed Zygadlo finished third with a score of 58, winning $100.

All three winning teams donated their winnings to the Child Advocacy Center to support services for child abuse victims.

“The tradition of giving continued at this year’s Turkey Tee Off golf tournament, and we were fortunate to raise over $20,000,” Child Advocacy Center Development Coordinator Katie Enzor said.
