Approximately 30 businesses in Murfreesboro participated in the 11th annual national Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28. There has been about $120 billion spent in the previous 10 Small Business Saturdays combined. According to an economic impact study from American Express, 62% of U.S. small businesses reported that they need to see consumer spending return to pre-COVID-19 levels by the end of 2020 in order to stay in business.
