Discovery Center at Murfree Spring’s 7th annual Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands will be held Friday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m. at 502 S.E. Broad St. in Murfreesboro. Guests can visit multiple stations throughout the museum with experts providing details about each wine. Tickets are available in advance for $35 per person, or $40 at the door. The Ninth Annual Special Kids Race will be held Saturday, March 7 at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & Surgicenter, 1272 Garrison Dr. in Murfreesboro. Runners or walkers may participate. Registration is $50 for the 5K; $55 for the 10K; $60 for the 15K; and $30 for the One-Mile Fun Run. Participants in the 5K, 10K and 15K will receive a pullover and a race medal.
