Oaklands Mansion Wedding Dresses Through the Decades Exhibit will be held Jan. 17-March 1 at the mansion at 900 N. Maney Ave. in Murfreesboro. More than 50 gowns and wedding ring quilts will be exhibited. The exhibit will be open daily, Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is $10 per person.

American Sign Language course will be taught on Wednesdays for seven weeks beginning Jan. 22 through March 4 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Room 106 of the Paul W. The 2020 African American Celebration will be held Thursday, Jan. 23 from 4-7 p.m. at Patterson Park Community Center, 521 Mercury Blvd in Murfreesboro.
