The Center for the Arts youth program will perform ‘Frozen JR.’ next month. SUBMITTED

Center Stage Academy, the youth education program at the Center for the Arts, will perform “Frozen JR.” for the public at MTSU’s Tucker Theater on Friday, Dec. 13.

Showtimes are 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show will also be performed for student groups on Thursday, Dec. 12. Tucker Theater is on campus at 615 Champion Way. 

“We have an amazing cast of more than 60 students who all have worked very hard to bring this story to life,” Executive Director Patience Long said. “This is also our first time to partner with MTSU and present in Tucker Theater to enable a larger audience to enjoy this performance.” 

Frozen JR. tells the story of sisters Anna and Elsa. The musical is based on the popular movie and adds five new songs. The production is directed by Denise Parton, Director of Education at the Center for the Arts.
