It may not have “Legs,” but a large rubber duck autographed by “ZZ Top” will be auctioned off Saturday during the Child Advocacy Center’s Duck Derby.

Ducks autographed by celebrities and a football signed by University of Tennessee Coach Derrick Dooley will be sold to the highest bidder beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday before the derby at the Sportsman’s Club at 1231 Medical Center Parkway.

Quackers begin racing at 5:23 p.m.

"I am so excited about all our famous ducks and I especially think the ZZ Top Duck will be a hit due to their iconic status," said Queen of the Quackers Kristin Demos. "We've never had a Rock and Roll Duck like this before."

Other celebrities who donated ducks include:

• Country music entertainers Chris Young of Murfreesboro and Josh Grayson.

• Tampa Bay Devil Rays Pitcher David Price and his teammates.

• Financial Peace leader Dave Ramsey.

• Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Derrick Mason.

• The Blue Collar Comedy Tour including Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and Reno Collier.

The Derby kicks off at noon with the free Family Fun Festival for all ages.

Coordinator Leslie Walker said the event will feature portable bowling alleys from Lanes, Trains and Automobiles, carnival games, inflatables, pint-size pampering manicures for children and a fire engine display.

“This will be fun leading up to the big event,” Walker said.
