Zone for Oakland Middle up for discussion tonight | RCS, Oakland Middle School

Rutherford County’s Board of Education will meet Thursday night to discuss proposed zones for the new Oakland middle schools.

The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Oakland High School. Another hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Buchanan Elementary for the Buchanan Middle zones.

As laid out now OMS will house 935 students from the Lascassas, Siegel, Kittrell and Central districts.
