On Sunday, May 16, Murfreesboro police responded to an assault call at Blackman High School.
Richard Kimberly told officers that he had been refereeing a basketball game when the coach of the Nashville All-Stars stepped onto the court and starting elbowing him.
Kimberly said that the coach was upset because a technical foul had been called on his team. He also stated that several people were recording the game and that the alleged event would be on film.
The referee said would attempt to obtain more information on the coach in addition to a video of the game.

On Saturday, May 15, officers stopped a vehicle that had run a stoplight on Mall Circle Drive nearly causing an accident before driving through the median and making a left onto Old Fort Parkway.
When officers approached the vehicle the driver, James Stluka, rolled down the vehicles rear window and attempted to hand his identification out of the front.
Stluka proved unable to complete the field sobriety tests instructed by the officers and was placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
