YEAH!, Youth Empowerment Thru Arts and Humanities, is kicking off 2010 by adding a whole new series of professional classes for youths aged 10 to 17.
Classes are scheduled to begin Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. Showcase for the winter session will be on Friday, March 12, 2010.
Classes include:
School of Recording - Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. and Sunday from 3-5 p.m.
Acting 102: Audition Skills - Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5 p.m.
Culinary Arts – Saturday 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at Five Senses restaurant with Chef Mitch Murphree.
Graphic Design - Monday and Wednesday from 4-5 p.m.
YEAH! Glee - Monday and Thursday from 6-7 p.m.
Screenprinting - Monday and Tuesday from 4-5 p.m.
Interested in any of these classes? Then sign up today, as seats are limited. These professional series classes are only $40 per month, and your student will go farther, deeper and learn far more than just the basics. For more information, check the YEAH! Website at www. yeahintheboro.org.
Meanwhile, YEAH! has a series off ongoing free activities including: Knitting Club, Yeah Sings, Film, Acting 101, Screenprinting Club, Arts and Crafting and Chess Club Other free activities including open mic nights, karaoke nights, classic video games and movie nights.
