One woman was shaken up but uninjured when a man robbed her about 3:45 a.m. Thursday at a Bridge Avenue business where she works, Murfreesboro Police reported.
Karen Burke of Polly’s Kitchen was reaching for a bag of ice in her car when a man grabbed her by the hair and pulled her out of the car, Officer Stephen McGowan reported.
“He said, ‘give me the money,’” McGowan reported.
The robber ran away without any property. Burke described him as a black man wearing dark clothes She did not see his face.
“Ms. Burke was visibly shaken but suffered no injuries,” McGowan reported.
