Following a rebranding and market repositioning effort, Wiser, a leading supplier of engineering, architectural, construction management, intelligence and geospatial services has redefined its strategic focus. This includes broadening their geographic presence and expanding into additional service areas and markets. Repositioning the firm enables Wiser to better serve its clients.
Wiser has recently experienced significant growth which can be attributed to their commitment to leverage existing relationships and programs while also expanding their service model. As of January 2010, Wiser has opened an office in St Louis, MO and is currently in the process of evaluating additional expansion areas. The firm has outgrown their existing offices in Murfreesboro, TN (headquarters) and Birmingham, AL. Wiser anticipates working out of multiple locations in Murfreesboro and relocating to a larger space in Birmingham.
Much of this growth is a result of providing geospatial support to the federal government. This has enabled Wiser to diversify their services and expand their client base. For example, Wiser has established an architectural group which allows Wiser to offer a more integrated project delivery approach. As their services have branched out from infrastructure/transportation engineering to encompass geospatial mapping, architecture and construction—the Wiser staff follows the same basic principles that the founder, Cy Wiser, has used for 14 years: hire smart people, give them space to be creative in their thinking and allow them to create inventive answers that work for each client’s unique problems.
