WILMA HAZEL GILMORE, age 83, of Smyrna, died Jan. 16, 2010. Mrs. Gilmore was a native of Southwest Missouri, and daughter of the late Loren and Edith Roller Dabbs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna with Wayne Cornwell, Glen Gardner and Robbie Forrester officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilmore is survived by her husband, Marion Eugene Gilmore; children, Jeanine (Steve) Adams, Brentwood, Joyce (Tom) Kirk-Moore, California, David Gilmore, Lavergne, and Lois (Barry) Watkins, Richmond, VA; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren; siblings, Eugene Dabbs, Donnis Luck, Dr. Wilbur Dabbs, Nadine Keith, and Marianna Blankenship. She was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Dabbs.
Mrs. Gilmore was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and minister’s wife for over 50 years.
