Willie Inez Cornelison, age 86, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at NHC National Health Care.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and a homemaker.

Willie was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Myrtle Collins Hutchins; husband, William R. Cornelison; brother, Walter Hatton Collins; and sister, Adie Ruth Hutchins. She is survived by her sons, William T. (JoAnne) Cornelison of Murfreesboro and Michael (Mary) Cornelison of Manchester; four grandchildren, Robert Cornelison, William R. Cornelison, Michael G. Cornelison and Crystal Trull; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dwight Smitty officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, 615-893-2422.
