Two teens robbed a wheelchair-bound man of prescription painkillers and $120 cash during a hold up early Thursday on Lascassas Pike, a Murfreesboro Police officer reported.
Victim William Manus allowed the two young men to enter his home to use the telephone, Officer Tommy Massey reported.
“The subjects pushed the suspect out of his wheelchair and took his wallet and a bottle of Lortab from his nightstand,” Massey reported.
They fled in an unknown direction.
Manus described the suspects as two black males in their late teens. One was about 5-foot-8 and heavyset while the second suspect was about 6-foot with a medium build.
Detectives Ed Gorham and Richard Presley interviewed the victim. People who have information about the suspects may call the detectives at the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717 or Crime Stoppers at 893-STOP between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
