Get to Know RuCo Get to Know Rutherford will offer guests an opportunity to celebrate the county at a free event from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Square.
The “Heritage Celebration,” and music at the market includes the extension of the Saturday Farmers Market. The Rutherford County Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee presents foot stomping banjo and fiddle ole’ time and Civil War songs.

“This Cruel War: The Civil War in Rutherford County,” the title of a nine panel exhibit, will be on display at the Courthouse for Saturday’s event. Bring your lawn chairs with you to the market, fill your basket and then sit back, visit with neighbors, enjoy the music and fall weather on the square.
