In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing his social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. But when a job he has been waiting for his entire life comes along and promises to take him to the Pacific Northwest, the news doesn’t sit well with his “gramps and nans”.

The grandparents scheme to keep him close to his “familia”, and that includes the single Caitlin O’Hare as lovely bait for the bachelor.
