In its 38th season, the Middle Tennessee Choral Society performs Handel’s Messiah at 3 p.m. in the Wright Music Hall with an additional performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The Choral Society will be accompanied by an orchestra, all under the direction of Dr. Raphael Bundage.

Tickets at the door are $10 for adults; $9 for seniors age 65+; $8 for children under age 12; free for university students.

MTSU invites the public to enjoy “Twas The Night Before Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Hinton Music Hall of the Wright Music Building.

Murfreesboro Symphony Concert

Newly inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame Grammy-winner Larnelle Harris will perform A Larnelle Harris Christmas at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, 265 West Thompson Ln. in Murfreesboro.

Harris will perform sacred and secular Christmas music.

Walking for the Children Charity Horse Show

Walking for the Children Charity Horse Show is an annual Walking Horse Owners Association event with proceeds benefiting Christmas for the Children Fund.

Theow starts at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum, 304-B West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro.
