Sense & Sensibility Lamplighter’s Theatre Company stages Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility at 7:30 Friday and Saturday nights with a 4:30 Sunday afternoon matinee.
Set in early 19th century England, Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility follow the trials and tribulations of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor (Terra Bushmann) and Marianne (Rachael Parker) – two women who have very different ideas about the propriety of love.

Murfreesboro Lions Club Pancake Breakfast The Murfreesboro Lions Club, 407 Hickerson Dr, Cannonsburgh serves up a Pancake Breakfast from 7-10 o'clock Saturday morning.
The famous Rutherford County Pancake Crew will prepare a breakfast of pancakes, sausage patties, orange juice, milk and coffee. Breakfast costs $5 for adults, $3 children 6-12 and free for children under 6.
Proceeds go to Lions Club Sight programs in our community. Come out and support the Lions and their mission to help the sight-impaired and to prevent blindness.
What Brought You To Murfreesboro? Linebaugh Library is partnering with the City of Murfreesboro’s Bicentennial Committee to offer a great opportunity for the community to hear stories of citizens who represent the ethnic diversity of our city.
In answering the question: “What Brought You to Murfreesboro?”, we will learn what attracts people to our city, what Murfreesboro looks like from the “outside looking in” and gain a better understanding of our neighbors.
Citizens from African, Arab, European, Hispanic, Japanese, Chinese and Laotian backgrounds will share their stories from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the Reading Room of Linebaugh Public Library.
Photos and artifacts from their home countries will also be on display in the library for the entire month of February. Friends of Linebaugh will provide refreshments for the event, which is free and open to the public.
