Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts opens their 2009 season Friday with the classic family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Disc golfers will play two grounds of golf to determine division winners, ranging from pro to beginner, among those brave enough to endure what appear to be classicly cold January weather next weekend with temperatures expected to be in the teens by the end of next week.

The annual event raises money for the local food bank with lunch provided as contestants judge entries from a chili cook-off.

Open to all ages and skill levels, the event starts at 8 a.m. Entry fees range from $10-35, depending upon division.
