Best-selling author Sherrilynn Kenyon speaks and signs books at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Linebaugh Library, 105 West Vine St.

In the past two years, Kenyon has claimed the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list 10 times. Publisher’s Weekly has proclaimed Kenyon “the reigning queen of the paranormal scene.”

The Murfreesboro Center for the Arts presents Disney’s The Jungle Book at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a 2:30 matinee Sunday afternoon.

The story is set in a small village in India and a heart-warming story develops with a mother who hid her baby from a stalking tiger. The baby is found and raised by a pack of wolves.
