(Nashville, Tenn) — It’s an annual event that attracts hundreds of future brides looking for a great deal. It’s probably the only place in town where you can get a designer wedding gown worth $6,000 for under $400.

Goodwill’s fourth annual Wedding Gala is set for 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, at the Goodwill store in Rivergate. Already this year, Goodwill has more than 700 wedding gowns all priced between $49 and $399. Most of them were donated by area bridal boutiques and have never been worn.

If future brides have already found their dream dress, but they’re still in the market for accessories, the sale also features a huge selection of shoes, veils, jewelry and other accessories.

Area bridal boutiques also donate dresses for the wedding party. There will be flower girl dresses, dresses for the mothers of the bride and groom, and hundreds of bridesmaid dresses, all for under $30.

The Wedding Gala also features more than 150 prom dresses all priced under $30. Nearly all of these dresses are also brand new, donated by area bridal boutiques.

Last year, 630 dresses were sold. There were also more than 200 pieces of jewelry, dozens of veils and several pairs of shoes purchased that day.

If you plan on attending, make sure you get there early. A line started forming outside the store before 7:30 p.m. the night before. By 9 p.m., there were more than 20 people in line. When the doors opened at 6 a.m., more than 300 people had gathered outside.

This article really gave everyone in the city of Nashville an opportunity to obtain a fairy tale wedding. The women of the surrounding area who will soon be uttering the words “I do” to their fiancé will have the opportunity to spend exciting hours deciding which dress is the one of their dreams.
Goodwill’s fourth annual Wedding Gala is opening the door for couples who may not have the funds to spend thousands of dollars on a wedding dress. I believe that this is an uplifting article about Goodwill making huge strides towards couples with middle class income affording designer wedding dresses.
I understand that there is little room for unnecessary spending.Goodwill is pushing towards helping the community. I commend the program for taking the time to help the community and understand some of the extra needs of the community. Senior girls in high school can also partake in this amazing sale. Goodwill is giving girls a chance to choose luxuries dresses for their very first prom. Goodwill is a huge asset to the community and should be recognize for the amazing contribution towards the public.
