Its a toss up, who’s failing at their job more, the boro city council or the weather forecasters?

Even at the height of the predictions, they were calling 1 to 3 inches of possible accumulation a "major snow storm." Even for middle TN that's not really "major." Certainly not worth all the hysteria.

Why is it so hard to predict the weather here in middle tennessee ??? Its not just this snow storm they missed. It was all summer with all the rain they did NOT predict.

Remember, the forecast comes from the feds (Nat'l Weather Bureau) and the media's weather lackeys are educated by the same Gorebal Warming "scientists"--likely the same crowd who close airports when their scientific technology detects honey as an explosive. Phil Harper, 890-0904

If forecasting the weather, short-term,
Is (it would seem) not very dependable
Then those who'd forecast change in climate years hence
Clearly are going to have their hands full!

Weather forcasting has gotten remarkably better over the years. No longer will we get 6 inches of no accumulation. But it is so much fun to watch them all cry wolf all winter long.
