WALTON LORENE JONES, age 82, of Smyrna, passed away Jan. 30, 2010. Mrs. Jones was a native of Wilson Co., and daughter of the late Walter and Jenny Hedgepath. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna with Bro. Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones is survived by sons, William (Betty) Jones, Nashville, Robert (Diane) Jones, Smyrna, and Walter (Penny) Jones, Memphis; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband the late William Alvis Jones; a daughter, Virginia Fann; and a son, Alvis F. Jones Sr.
