Middle Tennessee State University's tennis teams will host the 23rd Annual Wally Tidwell Pro-Am on Sept. 11 - 12, 2009.
Events for the weekend include appetizers on Friday evening at the MTSU Hall of Fame and Pro-Am events on Saturday followed by tailgating for the MTSU vs. Memphis football game.
Players are needed to team up with pros for a morning of doubles on the 12th. Cost for the weekend of activities is $150 and includes the Friday night appetizer social, the match play on Saturday, tailgating for the football game, and two tickets to the game.
The Pro-Am is the single annual fundraiser for Blue Raider Tennis, and the teams depend on the community's support of this event to remain one of the best tennis programs in the South.
The women's pro-am starts at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12 with the men's event starting at 11 a.m.
