Murfreesboro resident Tom Davis fulfilled a life-long dream when he participated in the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp last month in Nashville.
With readers’ help, he can extend his dream.
One band from the 15 camps from across the U.S. will win a trip to attend the Rock ’n Roll Fantasy Camps Nov. 4-9 in London where they will record at Abbey Road studios, studios, play live at The Cavern in Liverpool, and jam with rock legends like Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and Bill Wyman from The Rolling Stones.
To extend Davis’ dream, go to www.rockcamp.com to vote for Deep Voltage online. Voting will last until Sept. 15. Fans can only vote once and will need to verify their email address (unverified emails will not count).
Video clips of the three bands with the highest vote counts will then be viewed by London guest stars who will select the winning band.
The winning band will be announced on Sept. 17.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp offers one-day sessions allowing aspiring rock stars to train alongside Hughes, Chris Slade with AC/DC, Earl Slick, who performed with David Bowie and John Lennon, Gilby Clarke of Guns N’ Roses and Elliot Easton of the Cars.
