On Saturday, Aug. 20, The Avenue Murfreesboro will hold the fifth annual Taste of Stones River in support of the Primary Care and Hope Clinic.

The free culinary festival will feature signature menu items from the area’s finest restaurants, live entertainment from local bands and a variety of children’s activities in the Kids Fun Zone. Event organizers are currently seeking volunteers to help with the day’s activities.

“We’re in need of volunteers to help in a variety of roles including assisting with event set-up and clean-up and helping with event activities,” said June Bilbo, Taste of Stones River Committee chair. “Volunteers will have an opportunity to be involved in a fun, family event that benefits an outstanding non-profit organization right here in our community, the Primary Care and Hope Clinic.”

Those interested in volunteering for Taste of Stones River may call the Primary Care and Hope Clinic at 893-9390 or go to www.tasteofstonesriver.org.
