Virginia Lee Leasure O’Haver, born on November 27,1924 in Lonaconing, Maryland was almost 89 years old.

Mrs. O’Haver passed away on September 13, 2012 at Stone Crest Hospital in Smyrna, Tennessee with her loving family by her bedside. Mrs. O’Haver was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Thomas Leasure and Annie Francis Clark Leasure; step-mother, Nellie Preston Leasure; husband of 56 years, James Robert O’Haver, Sr.

Mrs. O’Haver was an active member of her church, Bible Baptist Church of North Madison, Ohio. She worked at RIC Fiber’s for 28 years. Then moved to Triune, Tennessee and worked at Lasko Fan’s for 7 years before becoming a housewife for the last 26 years.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her two sons, James Robert O’Haver, Jr. (Deborah) of Rockvale, TN and Gerald Thomas O’Haver (Ruth) of Chapel Hill, TN; four grandchildren, Virginia Perry, Tonia McCutcheon, Jacob Wilson and Josh Wilson; 13 great-grandchildren, Steven Jett, Cristian Jett, Mathew Perry, Kayla Brewer, Taylor McCutcheon, Kassi Wilson, Jackie Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Austin Wilson, Cordell Wilson, Marcus Wilson, Hayle Wilson and Kayle Wilson.

Mom loved her country music and her Christian music. She loved to read and loved her family. She will be sadly missed.

Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Bro. Dusty Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Jacob Wilson, Brock Adams, Richard Whitehead, Bobby Garrett, Samuel Ray and Steve Turnbow serving as active pallbearers.
