Victim robbed at MTSU's campus

Two men armed with a handgun robbed a man of $80 cash and ordered him at gunpoint to drive them Thursday to MTSU’s campus, Murfreesboro Police reported.

Two men approached victim Darrius Williams of East Northfield Boulevard while he was at Wal-Mart about 4:30 p.m. on South Rutherford Boulevard, Officer Jacob Lamb reported.

They showed him a handgun and ordered him to drive them to MTSU.

“Once they arrived on campus, they took $80 cash and got out of the car,” Lamb reported.

Detectives are investigating. People who have information may call the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717 or Crime Stoppers at 893-STOP.
