Barely 100 Rutherford County voters had cast ballots in the general election for the vacant seat in state House of Representatives 62 District.

The most interested voters seem to live in Eagleville, where 94 had voted by 1:45 this afternoon. Rockvale Community Center had only seen 15 voters and Blackman United Methodist Church had a grand total of seven.

Republican Pat Marsh, Democrat Ty Cobb Jr. and Independent Chris Borwn fight for the seat vacated by Curt Cobb.
