| Vandals had a field day in two separate incidents at Old Fort Golf Course and the Sportsman Club on Medical Center Parkway last weekend.
Between Sunday night, Jan. 9 and Monday morning, Jan. 10, Old Fort Park Golf Course had one of its work trucks broken into and the suspects discharged a fire extinguisher inside of the truck.
Miscellaneous tools were also stolen off of the truck.
The vandals cut several bags of fertilizer that were stored inside one of the outbuildings. Fertilizer was spilled and/or dumped on the ground.
The Sportsman Club, located at 1229 Medical Center Parkway, was also broken into in the same time frame.
The burglars/vandals did extreme damage to the outside door and doorframe.
Once inside the building, severe vandalism and damage were done. The initial police report states there was an estimated $25,000 worth of damage inside and an additional $15,000 outside the building.
Rutherford County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 leading an arrest in either one or both of these cases.
