UPDATE: Police search for Bank of America robbery suspect | Bank robbery, Bank of America

Suspected bank robber
One witness identified a suspected bank robber accused of robbing a Bank of America teller Monday at a Memorial Boulevard branch, a sheriff’s deputy reported.

A cooperating witness identified the suspect to sheriff’s deputies, Murfreesboro Police and the FBI agent investigating the crime, Deputy Stephen Lewis reported. Police were searching for the suspect who was arrested on aggravated burglary and theft charges last week by sheriff’s Detective Ralph Mayercik.

Murfreesboro Police spokesman Kyle Evans reported the robber handed a teller a note demanding money.

“After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspect left the bank, ran across Memorial Boulevard where he entered a blue and silver Dodge truck,” Evans said.

Police asked sheriff’s deputies to watch for a Dodge pickup truck the suspect got into after the robbery, Lewis reported. He stopped the driver of the truck and obtained information leading to the suspect’s name.

Law enforcement officers are trying to locate the suspect as part of their investigation.

He is described as a white man about 5-foot-8 with a slim build. He is about 25 years old. He wore a blue long-sleeved shirt with a circular white insignia. He has short brown hair and a tattoo with lettering on his neck.

People who have information about the suspect are asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717, communications at 893-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 893-STOP between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Somebody forgot to tell him to leave his hair long, then shave it off after you rob the bank. A baseball cap might have helped with his disguise as well. Must have been a spur of the moment thing, think i'll go rob a bank.

Farmall, maybe he's going to let his hair grow long, and get a baseball cap now;) He doesn't look like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Bank of America sucks.....he was probably just trying to withdraw funds from his account and the teller misunderstood him.
