On Tuesday, law enforcement officials found a 33-year-old Murfreesboro man who disappeared Friday from his Greenland Drive home.
Parchia Tolbert was located in Nashville, five days after he was last seen leaving his home at 902 Greenland Drive at 8 a.m., according to a Murfreesboro Police Department announcement.
“He was located in Nashville just minutes after local media coverage of the alert,” said Kyle Evans, public information officer for the Police Department, on Wednesday in a press release. “He did not know who he was or how he arrived in Nashville. But, an alert shelter worker recognized him from the media coverage and called police.”
Evans said he has been “returned to his family unharmed.”
The Police Department would like to thank the media for their efforts in locating Tolbert, who is mentally handicapped, Evans said.
